Just attempted to attach sawtooth frame hangers to the back of an old window my wife painted up. Hammering those little 1/4" nails is one of the most frustrating things I've attempted lately. I'm sure someone has that beat. Who's got something worse?

lol... I spent the day putting Silicon on the windows of our old house to seal this puppy up. It wasn't tough though. Still need to put down some foam stripping on the base of the doors. Sealing the windows and somewhat the doors saves a ton of money.

Anything involving entering the cramped space under the kitchen sink. Did the faucet last year, and the garbage disposal last week. The old junk is always caked on, I'm working upside down, and I usually have my wife asking questions or providing input at the most inappropriate time.

Putting snow chains on my lawn tractor getting ready for snow. Usually empty my arsenal of swear words on that one.

^^^^has a lawn tractor with snow chains...complains about putting them on....uptown problems.

:jimlad: Did a happy dance when my snowblower started a few weeks ago when I gave 'er the old 'getting ready for winter' test run

Has a 300 ft driveway and a 1/4 mil cul de sac he splits snow duties with one other neighbor. Did you expect me to use a shovel?

Replaced the under kitchen sink water filters. Didn't tighten quite enough the first time. I'm really fast when water is spraying everywhere.

^^^has a a 1/4 mile long private cul-de-sac that he shares with only one one neighbor...is still complaining.

I took it as more than just the two houses are on the street, but only the two of them take care of the snow. Maybe others help pay for fuel for the snowblower? Just guessing.

Only two houses on the street. Rest are empty lots.

But now that you mention it my second most frustrating task would be rolling my own cigarettes with $100 bills. Just can't roll the things tight enough. Thinking about getting some Cubans.

That's the spirit Grinding...I was going to let it die after that last one...note my jimlad in the first reply...just giving you crap. Once in a while I think it's fun (and sometimes worthwhile) pointing out the uptown/first world/white people problems (whatever you want to call it, there's several memes) we all complain about. To be clear...I'm not poor guy complaining about 'rich guy'...but I like to remind even myself that if you're looking for something to complain about, you will find it. Just the same, if you're looking for something to be happy about, you'll find that as well. The other day I was complaining a bit about my phone not linking easily with my car bluetooth...got all worked up...then passed a guy with a trash bag passenger window and reminded myself that hey...it's not all that bad.

(before anyone asks...yes, the trash bag window guy was wearing a Tigerhawk stocking hat)
