I think we are going to see huge improvement in our defensive line next year. Rodney Coe has been impressive the last 2-3 games, and remember this is his first year at the D-1 level. He hasn't even been in a D-1 weight program, give him a summer and I think he will be a beast next year. David Irving is a first year defensive tackle, and he is playing fairly well his first year at the position. Also, I believe he is playing the position about 30 lbs underweight, since they didn't move him until the fall when Collin Bevins left the team. I think both of these guys can make big jumps next year. You combine that with the fact we only lose (I believe) Willie Scott and Walter Woods, I think we could have the best defensive lines in the Paul Rhoads era.

Didn't mean I just quote that.
I agree that these guys seem to be improving. I don't know if they will be the best. I still think that line needs more speed on the ends. I think Morresey is decent but isu needs a better pass rush. If we land clinkscales and/or Barney, I will feel very good about our dline next year. And god willing if Miller keeps improving at LB, we might not take such a huge hit at LB next season

Easily the best DL under CPR. Even with no jucos starting morrissey, Irving, Jensen, Meyer plus backups Coe, cousins, aka, kron makes for a salty group. Then toss in Trent, Garcia, Waggoner, possibly Meeks coming off of redshirt. If they somehow get clink scales, Barney, Pierson this group ends up being dominant.
