He is. Junior this year, 1st time qualifying unfortunately went 0-2 today and is done.

Don Bosco now has 10 semi-finalist. I don't think they can lose it now, so we don't need to wait until Saturday to crown them. I have never seen anything like what they are doing at a State Tournament.

Waverly-Shell Rock did pretty well too. 12 made it through first round and 1 won in consolation.
My former high school Fort Dodge didn't do so well it looks like

Indianola has 8 still alive in the championship bracket, with 1 in the consolations. 1 went 0-2 and bbq today. Not too shabby, 3rd place as a team right now.

No, we don't need to wait until Saturday, but saying they practically had it wrapped up after one day is like saying Iowa State has the North wrapped up when the 4th quarter starts.

Next round will be huge. Indianola's in a good spot. Not expecting a team championship with the age of this squad, but top three will be good. Matt Young is doing a great job with the program. His older brother Travis, WDM Valley's coach, was my workout out partner in high school. Always made duals easier after getting my butt kicked around during practice all week.
