Official 2014 Recruiting thread

I posted it earlier in this thread, but why a WR would like Indiana with the current coaching staff. These are last years stats but they are holding true again this year.

4th best scoring offense in Big Ten last year, 2nd this year only behind Ohio State. 44 points per game average.

Best passing game in Big Ten at 312 yards a game. Again best passing offense in the Big 10 this year at 346 yards a game.

2nd best total offense in the Big Ten. Best total offense in the Big 10 at 535 yards a game.

3 of the Top 10 receivers in the Big 10 were from Indiana. Only have 2 WRs in the Top 10 this year, but their 3rd sits at 12th.

2nd best statistical QB in the Big 10. 2nd best statistical QB in the Big 10 again this year.

The staff at Indiana right now knows passing offense. If I was a WR, TE, or QB in the Midwest and was being overlooked by big schools and Indiana wanted me, I'd definitely listen. This hasn't shown up in wins because they've had the worse defense in the Big 10 last year and this year again.

Good stuff. Why is this so difficult to understand for people? It's the same reason Baylor (Baylor!) is getting some of the top skill talent in the country.

So does anyone have insight on when to expect the remaining commitments to come in? Is this going to drag into the new year? Just curious so I can go back to focusing on Rashad Vaughn

Based upon the inability to stop the run this year Clinkscales might be the most immediate impact recruit on the list.

Think the focus on Rashad needs to change to Mr. Clinkscales. Need to find a picture of Terrell and plaster around much like has been done for Rashad. The 247Recruiting site has him as #1 Juco DT & a 96 rating. Would fill a huge need & elevate the class mightily.

Worth noting, for those that don't think Rhoads recruiting is steadily improving, here are 247s class average rating from 2011-2014:
2011:79.26
2012:80.23
2013:81.16
2014:82.21 (so far)
