Thought I'd start a thread for this series since I know there are some Cards fans on here.

Thoughts on the series?

I'm nervous as hell. The Cards have my Dodgers number in the post-season. 1985 still haunts me as it does all Dodger fans. Give us this one, guys?

Going to the game tomorrow, probably too warm to wear my new Cardinals jacket. :(

Dodgers must be at least a slight favorite with their SP.

My 2 least favorite teams in baseball. Everyone in my family cheers for the Dodgers, which made the Braves series even more difficult. With that said, I dislike the Cardinals more than any team in MLB, so go Dodgers!

I'm with Adam. These are my two least favorite teams in the majors. And of course, Mark McGwire is a Dodger now.

The winner of this series WILL NOT win the World Series.

I predict the winner to be Dodgers in 5, and Tigers over the Dodgers in 6.

Not that it matters, but the Dodgers swept the Cards in the most recent post-season series.

Go Blue!

Cards should not have let the NLCS slip away last year. But I can't really be upset given the Cards' immense success relative to the rest of baseball over the last 15 years.

Dodgers probably win this series but I think it goes 6 or 7 games. Dodgers SP is great but the Cards aren't exactly slouches in that department either. The Cards offense has been pretty feast-or-famine... and I expect runs to be very hard to come by against the Dodgers.

I think the Cards' pitching is probably good enough to take 2-3 games, but I'm not sure they have the offensive firepower to win the series.

Either way, I want the NL winner to win the World Series. I can't stand either the Tigers or Red Sox and I'm extremely bored by seeing them in this position once again (I'm sure everyone in the NL is saying the same about the Cardinals).

Sounds just like LA. If Hanley continues to hit, the offense hums. If he isn't contributing, Kershaw and Greinke better throw 4 shutouts between them.

I forgot LA swept STL in 2009. For some reason I had it the other way around.

There is very little chance I will be watching this series. I'm glad the ALCS will also be happening. I cannot support the Dodgers in any way, shape, or form for obvious reasons. And I'm so sick of the Cards fans who are as bad at winning (AND losing) as hok fans. It's certainly not all of them, but enough to be the reason I no longer like St. Louis as a team.

Go American League, regardless of who it is (and they both beat the teams I wanted to advance).
