On August 1 he was quoted as saying he planned to have a decision "within the month". I think that was before the Syracuse offer.
When did ISU offer? One of the articles below says that Syracuse's mid August offer was his first BCS conference offer, but I thought ISU offered before.
EDIT: There is Badger state article from mid May that lists the ISU offer. Apparently an offer from ISU doesn't qualify as a BCS conference offer. :skeptical:

We took a TE commit in June. Staff might only be taking 1 TE this class. Offers do sometimes come with stipulations that a staff might only be taking X amount of commits at that position. If we offered in May, got a TE commit in June, this kid might not be considering us because the staff has cooled.
Beau B. looks like a tackle prospect to me. I don't think he's a TE at the next level.
That still wouldn't qualify 'Cuse as his first BCS offer. If what you surmise is true then his first BCS offer was still ISU, he just failed to take it before it was pulled. I think they just screwed up or more likely don't know what conference ISU is in.
We weren't recruiting this kid as a TE. He WAS being recruited to play somewhere on the O-line.
And maybe he wants to stay a TE & that will determine where he goes to play?
Having seen him on video, I don't think it would be wise of him to insist on staying at TE.

This guy is "Clink's" teammate. He too has us in high regard after his visit. According to the article on CR it sounds like it's between us and K-State. There are some pretty good quotes in the article.

Well we have 17 players graduating per the scholarship chart here on CF, and we have already signed 13 players i think? So 4 maybe? I honestly dont know how the scholarship situation is shaking out
