Saturday Debate

If you are a true Cyclone the only option is #1. It could be 145 degrees Celsius and the only drink available is rubbing alcohol, I would still be at Jack Trice. Anything less is something I would expect from a Hawkeye fan.

well, i am not a hawkeye, but unfortunately i am stuck with option #2

Fair enough, but you better bring a spare liver to the Iowa game as the only way one can stand to be around Hawkeye fans is to be truly intoxicated. Go Cyclones!

At least you guys aren't stuck with option #3:

Since we're going to be in Hawaii for my wife's (Iowa fan) sister's second wedding (and of course, it has to be a 'destination' wedding), I'm still trying to find a good way to watch the game that's better than my phone...which is also sketchy since cyclones.tv is flash video, which isn't supported on android, and I might only have voice coverage there.

All I gotta say is that luau on Saturday night better have some damn good pork.

Hawaii = Awesome, but having a sister in law that is a hawkeye is disgusting (no wonder she's already on hubby #2). Here are my recommendations: 1) Fake malaria, stay home and go to ISU game 2) If that doesn't work, buy parachute, jump out over Pacific, swim back to Jack Trice. Risking death by drowning or shark attack is still better than going to a hawkeye's wedding. 3) If #1/#2 doesn't work youre not a true cyclone!

Option 2.

I'm going to be a little disappointed if I haven't switched the TV over to the TCU game by halftime of the ISU game. I'll still listen to John on the radio, but this shouldn't be in doubt by the second half. It's the first weekend soak it all up, not just ISU.

Do you act like a jagoff in public too, or just on message boards? I have in laws that are Iowa fans, UNI fans, Nebraska fans, and soon to be Wisconsin fans, they're all decent (except for one lame *** brother in law). My Iowa fan sister in law is actually my favorite sister in law, just ****** about a destination wedding, leave kids behind, on a game weekend, might not be able to see it. She gets it because she went to Iowa, knows what it's like for me because I went to ISU

Here's why I'm calling your ****...my in laws are actually decent people who happen to be fans of other programs. I live in the Iowa City area, so I encounter all sorts of precious little snowflakes who feel the need to be phucknuggets to me because I'm wearing ISU gear (although after 4-8 football, no NCAA in basketball, it's slowing). So, I've seen it. And I don't accept an ISU fan being a phucknugget to other fans any more than I do a fan of any other program doing it to me. In fact, I have a higher standard for ISU fans. So...shut your hole and stop being a phucknugget.

And claiming ownership over the definition of who is a "true cyclone"....EABOD.

Wow! First of all "phucknuggets"? Are we in 5th grade? Second of all, Relax!!! The whole point of posting on these forums is to razz people and have fun - you need to see a psychiatrist if this really makes you this upset. Thirdly, I apologize for you marrying into a hawkeye family, you have my condolences! Lastly, I'm sorry you have so much anger inside, maybe Cy can give you a hug at the Iowa game.

Cool story bro!

I'm staying home to watch in the A/C, and I could care less what you think of me as a fan.

I can't believe I haven't thought of this. The game is on cyclones.tv, is the ISU channel up and running on mediacom? Pretty sure my friends have mediacom in Ames.
