AJ Klein

AJ got some 2Q snaps versus Michael Vick, while Jake, likewise in the 2Q, got to face off with Cam Newton. No stats for either as yet, but its got to be a rush going up against the other team's starters. ... It's pre-season, its grainy, streaming video, but like a flat beer on a nasty hot afternoon, it really hits the spot!!

Jake Knott is looking really good out there. Got some spotlight time from the NFL network. Didn't feel like starting a new thread.
 
Klein and Knott are both doing us PROUD tonight! Lots of playing time and lots of excellent hits. They are also both on their punt coverage teams. I'd be surprised if they do not both make it to opening day.
 
AJ is on the starting punt units for Carolina in tonight's ESPN matchup vs Baltimore. I assume this is a very good sign he's going to make the roster, since most NFL teams take the first half of pre-season game 3 very seriously. No snaps on the D as yet, but the night is young.

Yeah he has, he was in on the first defensive series.
 
He was in on the play when rice scored the one yard run.. It's looking very good for him tho!
 
KO looking bad tonight but I think that Louatelli sp? is pretty darn good. was a top 10 pick this year.
