Jack Trice throw backs

Note to Josh, I noticed that most of your t shirts have very short sleeves which is a pet peeve of mine. I realize that men with small shoulders fit in these fine but if you have wide broad shoulders, these sleeves hit you in the armpit. Unfortunately for us that is the current style. That and extremely thin material. Just a suggestion maybe make them a bit longer.

that's funny because i love the soft material of his shirts compared to the basic cotton from years ago. i don't buy short sleeve shirts (tshirts or polos) if the arm goes more than halfway down my bicep area.

A common misconception. The trademark office had the date as 1930 for that logo, but that was an error. The logo has been in use since the early 1900s. Here's a picture of a Ames/ISC football game in 1908. Look at the bottom left corner. Athletic Field, 1908 | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

EDIT: No idea what's going on with that empty thumbnail.

I did not know what I was getting myself into when I started going through those pictures. I think I fell through a time tunnel. Very cool!

interesting. i doubt its an 'error' or that trademark wouldnt still say 1930 today. i would also bet they just didnt trademark the thing until 1930, albeit a fancier looking version than the one in that 1908 photo.

I am not sure about the arrangement we have regarding unis. As I understand it, ISU can only procure uniforms from Nike, a company that provides a ridiculous amount of funding to another NCAA football team.

The announcement from Iowa State is coming tomorrow. Wearing throwbacks for the Iowa game. Just thought I'd throw that out there since there's been chatter on wearing them for the Iowa game. Again, announcement coming tomorrow where I imagine they will also unveil the jerseys at that time.

I really think they are dropping the ball if we do it for the Iowa game. What's the reasoning?

Putting on Trice throwbacks, you KNOW ESPN would run a feature, talk about the jerseys, its a thursday night prime-time game, twitter would be talking. How can it not be vs Texas? :realmad:
