Define popup blocker (what kind, which company?) and do you have toolbars? What browser are you using?

Quit using internet explorer.

I'd run adaware or something as well.

see if you can block out the address or addresses from your firewall either on your router or get firewall software for your computer

I use Firefox and check the Block pop-up windows in the options, and I never have a problem with pop ups. As others have said, first step is changing your browser if you are on IE.

Dude this will make it real easy for you. Open Internet Explorer, download and install Firefox. Use Firefox. The only time you need Internet Explorer is to open those few programs that will only work using IE. You will find that most of those programs, surprise, surprise, were written by MICROSOFT.

2) install spybot search and destroy - free - no gimmicks - ISU faculty even runs this
3) run full updates and scans with both
4) reboot
5) Install firefox with adblock
6) stop surfing porn and stop running Internet explorer
