Hey my tv just died, and am thinking about getting a Samsung led. Did not know where to get it the cheapest, or was wondering if this would be a bad brand to get. I only had my Vizio for 4.5 years.

Amazon. Watch for sales. Samsung is a great brand for LED/LCD tv's. They have improved their plasmas too from what I have read. Panasonic still makes the best plasmas.
All that said, I advise you to get a plasma unless absolute thinness is required or light control is an issue.
As for Samsung, youre probably going to be shelling out close to $1,000 for anything 47" or bigger. They are dang good tv's but the price tag reflects it.
I don't mean to insult, but almost any TV worth owning is going to be $800+. You get to quality between $1000-$1500. $1500+ gets you excellence. This is why it is important to make TV purchases from March to May when old models are clearing out and heavily discounted.
Do not buy Sony. They are overpriced.
This line has been considered the best bang for your buck television set for several years now.
