Doc Rivers to the Clips

This will be interesting. I think the Clippers have a future and the Celtics are old. Rivers will do better here.
I don't understand. Nuggets want Vinny Del Negro but fired George Karl because he couldn't win in the playoffs. Well neither could Vinny, and he didn't just win Coach of the Year.
What a carousel. I'm was just about through listening to ESPN talk about this on-again/off-again deal ad nauseum.
Sounds like they will if KG isn't traded to the Clippers as well, even as a separate trade.
So essentially they would veto the KG trade if it is proposed because you can't really go back on approving the Doc compensation trade after initially approving it. In the end I think both KG and Doc will still end up in LA.
Just the tip of the iceberg as far as changes go for the Celtics. Expect Ainge to move KG and Pierce (if not now, then next season before the trade deadline). I don't know who the Celtics will bring in as head coach, but I don't think it'll be George Karl. He's made it pretty clear that he wants no part of a rebuilding job, and the Celtics are about to tear it all down and start over with Rajon Rondo as the centerpiece.
It's funny how much heat, pun intended, Ray Allen took from the Boston media and even some of his own Celtic teammates, for leaving last year when his contract was up. Now just one year later KG and Doc are both looking to bail before their deals are even up.
