Homemade smokers...

I made a poor mans weber smokey mountain 2 years ago and it has worked awesome. Using the minion method with the coals I can hold 210 for 14-15 hours on 10 lbs of coal. It's not big enough so I'm starting a new project, a gravity feed, reverse flow. Any of you fellas have any experience with these? The design is based of a bunch different of stumps clones I looked at.

Also, if any of you farmers out there have any scrap sheet steel you want to get rid of, I'll take it off you hands.

I just have a WSM, but I like seeing guys make the Ugly Drums. I am over on BBQ Brethern, and a lot of guys have made them over there.

Do you have a big temp difference from the bottom to the top rack? I thought about going with something like the vault smokers, but that's been my biggest concern.
