Probably true but a court room is not the Chuckle Hut especially since is there for alledgly head butting his wife.
Maybe so, but Johnson set the stage for her to kinda be "on edge" by (1) not attending the prescribed number of domestic abuse counseling sessions on a regular basis, and (2) failing to meet with his probation officer. He couldn't even find the time to get to one a week, and then ignored phone calls and texts about it. She was angry that he wasn't done with the sessions by now. Good god, when the judge asked him how many counseling sessions he had attended since March 25, he couldn't answer her! So right there, Judge McHugh knows that he doesn't respect the law.
Then maybe send him to jail for headbutting his wife. I wonder how many days a hand shake would have gotten him. To change your decision because of a pat on the butt? Power trip.

She didn't have to accept the plea deal in the first place. Chad has skated by with a few things - time he didn't get someone to look the other way.
That's acting like a clown though? He didn't do a touchdown dance and spike the judge's gavel.
