They need to ask him what he think it would be like playing in half empty gyms at OU and Okie State compared to Ames. Really, there is no comparison. Of course there is other things like the weather, the girls, and of course the school but for a playing environment he can't top Ames with those other two locations.
Sounds like Custer will be a big reason Grandstaff comes to ISU if it happens. Not something I would have expected since One is from Kansas and the other from Texas. They don't play on the same AAU team or anything do they? What's the connection?

I haven't seen it mentioned yet but ESPN is reporting that we offered '14 Bonzi Colson Jr. 6'6" Power Forward. He plays AAU for the BABC (Niangs former team)

From Travis' interview with Abu Malik, ISU might be higher on his list than I previously though. I like that we were the first offer from a major school he received.

Keep in mind, he is talking to a guy from Ames, who supports ISU. Not saying he doesn't like us or anything, but he could have exaggerated his level of interest a little.

His replacement for the TR in Marshalltown is a ****** Hawk fan. We cancelled our subscription, might as well be reading the Gazette.
I get that, I just like that Abu put consideration that we were the first to recruit him and are still in regular contact with him. Fred and company wouldn't keep contacting him if he wasn't interested.
