Awful late in the year for these types of visits. Kane needs a school. I believe we are the school if Fred decides he wants him (which I think he will).
Came? He's not here yet.
May have been an assumption but why don't you agree?
Who is that in your avatar?![]()
Royce had an "incident" which could have just been a mistake. His former coach didnt want him to leave (but tubby had no choice). He seemed to be a great teamate and one of the leaders of the team.
Kane has a long history of stuff. While not being in legal trouble, his coach asked him to leave. His teamates hated him and allegedly said either he goes or we all go. He was a "cancer" in the lockeroom. The majority of fans are glad he's long gone.
Big difference between Royce and Kane.
You said you thought they scholarship would come from Naz or a scholarship would be pulled from a guy who already signed a LOI as a scholarship player. Just saying neither of those things will happen unless they decide to leave on their own, no scholarships will be "pulled".
Fools, we're only doing this because Fred gets a big kick out of the transfer-thugs threads at HokNation.
There is no "pulling". Scholarships (most) are yearly awarded.
Ok they won't "not award" a scholarship to a player who signed his LOI is a scholarship basketball player
Not talking about incoming players.
"Secret No. 2: Your Scholarship Could Disappear
If a coach guarantees that an athletic scholarship will last through a student’s senior year, he’s lying. NCAA rules stipulate that schools may award only one-year scholarships. It’s up to the coach to decide whose scholarships get renewed. "

So you're telling me you think we would tell a soph PG who came to school on scholarship he either has to leave the school or lose his scholarship to make room for a transfer?

Why not? I have seen it done on the football side
Really? There's an example out there where a player says they don't want someone? That's hard to believe. If my coach asked my what I thought about a recruit, I'd have a hard time giving a thumbs-down, even if I thought that.Keep an eye on twitter the next few days and see what they say - they aren't shy about letting us know if they want someone on the team.
No, I will not ever name a specific player or player's position. Nor will I speculate on who that could/would/should be.
What I will tell you is that it does happen....a lot.

Ok we're on the same page, someone did say a specific name and I just said IMO there is no way that would happen.
