Should make for a more interesting league race next year at least. Van Persie + Sir Alex = title. If Chelsea get Mourinho they are the favorites by a huge margin imo.
13 Prem titles (including this seasons). Maybe I'm forgetting someone, but that's by far the most impressive run in professional sports I can think of. There have been a lot of greats but 26 years is incredible, especially in a sport where you routinely see coaches only get months to prove themselves.

To a certain degree I don't even care who's in it as long as it is more comopetitive next season.
Good point 11 titles in 21 seasons is pretty impressive. I think Ferguson still has the edge if you count the total body of work. He's gotten a lot of trophies.
He gets the favortism of the refs who add seven minutes of stoppage time in every home game and call a penalty every time he raises an eyebrow.
Whatever! Did you not see the red card Evra got in the CL game against Real this year? Sure Man U gets calls but guess what in every sport in every league favorites and home teams generally get better treatment, but over the long haul it all evens out.
On another note, I was just thinking about buying some Man U stock. Starting to second guess that decision probably will hold off to see what happens over the next couple of days.
