good question. Still, that first design is pretty awesome. Not to mention the idea of impact seating.

I think we'll see more and more stuff like this in the future. Some argue that the stadium experience is no longer as good as the broadcast experience, leading to a slight drop in attendance. Adding stuff that you can't get at home, is a way to entice people to come to the games.

I think the dome is dead...or dying at least. Metrodome is near extinct...looks like the Georgiadome is next. no one is building new domes.

I think the impact seats sound dumb.

Why do I want some jackwagon back in the control room pressing a button to rumble my seat, inevitably 5 seconds after the "big hit," and spilling my $12 beer all over the place in the process?

I can spill much cheaper beer at home without an artificial earthquake.

Gotta go now, have to get back to yelling at kids to get off my lawn.

"Impact seats" do sound pretty silly.

The stadium concepts themselves look pretty sweet, though. The "falcon's eye" one is quite a statement.

I may be one of the few, but I really like the Georgia Dome. I've seen both bball and football in it and it's a great atmosphere.
