I know agents can certainly promote players and help get them the best deals possible, but ultimately, isn't Geno responsible for Geno not making the first round?

I would say so. Agent is good for getting you paid once you are drafted.

Geno just seems like a guy that thinks everything else around him is the problem but not him...

I said it before, and I will continue to say it. The Jets are a perfect fit for Geno's ego. I wish them the best together...

He might have a legit gripe depending upon what his agent told him going up into the draft. If the agent was blowing smoke up his ***, I think that would be a decent reason to fire someone.

I could see expecting to be the 1st QB picked, or expecting to go in the 1st round, or even expecting to be a high pick, but if was expecting to be #1 overall his agent was either lying to him about a trade or he had no exposure to any draft coverage. I barely follow off-season NFL and even I knew there was know way KC was taking a QB with that pick.

Can't wait to see him flop in NY without Austin to throw to. There's a reason Tavon went in the first round I Geno didn't.

Yeah, now obviously he should have known better, but if his agent were filling his head with ******** that'd be a pretty good reason to let him go.

Makes it that much better he was yelling "First round sir! First round sir!" to Wally, karma is a B

Hate the guy wish nothing good for him, he will bust for sure and could not happen to a better team.
