This guy would be a great catch for CPR and company. Got a feeling that class is going to be special.

Make sure to list the call in the phone log!

Read his dad doesnt want him to commit until June 1st, after he's taken a few other visits. Makes sense if you ask me.

Yeah, makes sense. That just means we have a month and half to wait to find out he has picked the Cyclones

Question is, was it on speaker phone? Or were they three separate calls? Or do three coaches on one speaker phone count as 3 calls?

My head hurts.....

I haven't followed football recruiting enough with work lately. Are we recruiting him for WR, RB or DB then? Any position moreso than another?

I think I read somewhere where he wants to play a "Percy Harvin" type role (wide out, slot, running back, kick/punt return)

The Wimberly replacement would be fantastic, what's the thoughts on RS? If he did, he could probably get significant snaps as a RS Frosh when Wimberly is gone.

Irish Slip With Mister
This article has to cause butt hurt for the irish but he describes what he wants to play. Also told the irish sports daily that notre dame has fallen behind Iowa State.... How often does that happen, where notre dame is a kids #1 and then iowa state over takes them in Notre Dames backyard!

“I haven’t met all the coaches yet and I really want to get to know all of them,” Mister explained. “Everywhere I’ve been I’ve met the head coach, but I haven’t met Coach (Brian) Kelly yet. That’s been disappointing for me - I’ve been on campus four or five times and I haven’t met him.”
“A lot of recruits say they don’t meet him until their senior year,” he continued. “I talked to some other Notre Dame recruits and they said he doesn’t talk to you unless there is a chance that you’re going to commit - that’s a downside for me.”

What an arrogant *******.

Judging by the trend of the last couple recruiting classes, they are going to redshirt most if not all newcomers (excluding ju-co) if possible. Of course there is the exceptions like Allen Lazard. I highly doubt he gets red-shirted. Unless Tommy Mister is really good, he'll get a red-shirt.

I don't understand the fascination that people have with Notre Dame football. Yes, they had a good football program, and then Lou Holtz left for South Carolina. It sounds like Kelly still expects everyone to just line up at the door and beg to play for his team.

Sure, they went to the NC game last year, thanks to weaker schedule, and then got blasted by a true power program.

Maybe the recruiting coaches told him after a few months on the job, "You are an *** and you're scaring away all of the recruits. Just stay away and let us handle it before we can't field a team."
