If Tech beats KU...

I'm torn. I'd like an easier shot at the Big XII title. But I'd also love another shot at KU.

I'm mixed. I completely understand what you're saying in wanting KU. To be the best, you have to beat the best, etc. and the revenge factor and what not.

But getting Tech tomorrow maybe an easier road to the title game.
 
I'd prefer not to play Texas Tech... I think our guys would be much more pumped to play KU. That, and I feel Texas Tech represents a strange match-up issue for us. We have yet to play extremely well against them this year, except for maybe the 2nd half of our last game with them.
 
I'd love the rematch, but i'd also love the easier path to the championship.


Tiebreaker: come march i love to cheer for chaos (big favorites losing). TTU is the definition of that.
 
I'll take texas tech. It makes it easier for us to get to the title game. Besides, I'm sure kansas is sick of hearing their name and "should have lost to Iowa State" or Iowa State "was robbed by the refs against kansas"

this, I think KU would be playing with a chip on their shoulder as well. They would want to put a beat-down on just to show that they didn't need help to win (though they did). Of course, if we got to play TTU, they'd just talk about how we had an "easy" path and didn't have to play them.

If we get KU, I hope that the players play with the same intensity and revenge-mindset that the fans have.

I love the idea of beating Kansas, especially if it's a hardcore 30-point smackdown, but it seems like a high-risk, high-reward opportunity. We're not the type of team that dwells on a loss, but I think beating Tech and playing in the conference championship game would give us a much bigger boost than losing to Kansas for a 3rd time. Even if we lost to Tech, I don't think it would be as deflating as getting beat by KU again.

I'd much rather see them in the NCAA tournament when we have the chance to end their season FOR GOOD (yes, that's a double entendre)
 
Tell you right now - if they allow the physical play that existed in the ISU-Okla game, there is no way that Tech is close to KU....and if ISU shoots like they did against Okla there's no way were close to KU....

Go Clones HUGE HUGE Win for us...that has to seal the trip to tourney - right?

I want the best. I want the world-recognized straight-up victory. I want to see that goof in the Jayhawk head cry.

If I wanted an easy path, I wouldn't do anything that I do. Bring on Kansas, and bring on their tears.
