I received texts from a few friends saying they gave up on trying to get in after waiting for an hour+. Anyone else have this issue?

Go raise hell at the ticket office. You paid for a ticket, the least they can do is make it standing room only.

they're turning away people with tickets and/or season tickets? Students with season tickets? That is a bad, bad move.

Don't want to sound stupid, but how can they do that? Did they sell more tickets than they had seats?

They oversold the student section. Our package CLEARLY stated that they had the right to turn people away.

They oversold student tickets. What sucks is that there are students that have been to every game this year that won't get to experience tonight's game while there are students that chose to show up tonight only.

Yea, son says they turned a lot of students away. He got there three hours early and is in second to top row. He's afraid a friend of his (female) has a concussion from getting slammed against the wall, she's nauseous but pupils are reactive.

that's what I would be ****** about. Unless they expect a complete sell-out, they should let the kids sit somewhere else.

yikes, that's really scary. She should probably get checked out sooner rather than later :( Head injuries aren't anything to mess around with.

If they could guarantee the KU game being one of the last games of the year, they could do a reward system for it. The more non-con and conference games you attend, the better seats you have for the KU game. It punishes the kids that only show up for big games and rewards the die hards.

I just talked with a security guy and they let in 100 more students than seats they have. But that is off the scanned number and I didn't get scanned and neither did a whole lot. So they have a bunch of people in here student wise
