Dorsey-walker

Wow. That's outstanding. Really looking forward to the 3 freshmen next season.

I am excited about this kid. He needed the redshirt year just like kids in the past have except he is getting it and taking advantage of it.

Does he dress for the games? There were only 2 players that didnt get in last game and i believe Law was one of them and im not sure who the other one was. I was assuming it was sdw but i didnt realize that red shirts were allowed to dress. Just curious.

I really believe that he will be one of our leading scorers. Leading scorers:
1. Niang
2. Ejim
3. Thomas
4. SDW
5. Bluford

Thats the whole thing about red-shirting. Your on the team and practice, but you don't actually play in games. Red-shirts can dress I believe. I remember Bubu Palo dressing for games when he was a freshman, and Aaron Law dressed for games last year too if I remember right. I do remember Babb, Allen, Booker and White sitting in cyclone alley though. So who knows? I don't think SDW has been dressing

They are able to dress because their redshirt can be pulled at any time if they need to see playing time. While it's incredibly unlikely, there's a chance due to foul trouble or injury SDW would be needed to finish a game.

You really think Bluford will pan out? I'm kinda on the fence on how his productivity will be.
He can shoot. That's why I had him at 5. I have no idea if he will pan out. If you think about it who else could be on there? We won't have that many true scorers.

Coach Beilein recruited SDW to play PG so I think he will bring so much to the table. Scoring (obviously), rebounding, ball handling and I assume he can be a leader if Michigan wanted him to play point.

There's a difference between redshirting as a transfer and as a freshman. the transfers have to sit out a year and not play. The freshman redshirts can dress and play at any point, but then they wouldn't be eligible for a redshirt

He can dress any game he wants based on the fact that at any moment the coach could pull his red-shirt. Even though the coaches know he isn't going to play he can still travel with the team "just in case" they want to pull it. He travels more for fun/scout team purposes/travel experience.
