What's everyone doing for eats while watching the Super Bowl? We're actually leaning healthy this year: ground turkey chili, a veggie tray, fruit tray, cheese n crackers, and only ONE dessert type thing (ok, maybe two). All of us are trying not to gain the usual 10 pounds of winter fat. We'll probably have some vino and some sort of diet soda for drinks (only one of us is a big beer drinker, so he'll probably bring his own booze). I just don't want stuff that's going to make me feel like I ate nothing but garbage at the end of the night and can't even move.

Make me jealous - what kinds of bad-for-you things are other people having?!

I think my husband is making red pepper gouda soup in bread bowls. It's even better than it sounds.

Pickle thingies (cream cheese and dried beef), pizza, wings, beer, chips/dips, basicly all the classic junk.

there are a lot of healthy options too! I've made an appetizer for us as meal, but you are supposed to cut it into pieces. It is a chicken salsa wrap that also has hard boiled eggs and cheese in it. (cook chicken, shred, mix with eggs, cheese, and salsa, place on tortilla then roll it up and warm in oven until warm all the way through.

I wouldn't be surprised if buffalo chicken and Fritos makes an appearance, too.

The girlfriend is making spinach and artichoke dip, although I wish she was making buffalo chicken dip. Also there will be wings and cocktail smokies.

New for me this year will be cheese stuffed bacon wrapped tater tots. De-freaking-licious, even if they are little heart attacks waiting to happen!

Bacon wrapped glazed smokies, mini pizza pockets, wings, who knows what else I'll find to make in the kitchen, maybe some spinach dip.

The wife is insisting on chicken tacos which she prefers that I cook in the crock pot. So no chili this year, I guess. =(

I'm going to make a huge batch of chex mix.

The daughter just said we have to have beer also.
