I like the fact that Hoiberg realizes that they need to find a way to play better D on the road. Something tells me we'll be more focused defensively on the road the rest of the year and find a way to win 1-2 of them.
 
The two things I feel we need to pull out those close road games are better defense and also someone willing to take the shot down the stretch. Those last possessions were not great. KL is usually good for being willing to make a shot when we need him, but we turned the ball over a lot down the stretch too.
 
I thought it was interesting that he talks to Tim so much. I mean he talked to Tim after the loss to OSU and before that interview. That is only about a 30 hour window.

He also mentioned talking to Tim after the Kansas game.

I agree that our defense needs to be better, but I didn't think it was THAT bad against Oklahoma State. Our rebounding was outstanding.

We shot 54% and hit 13 3's. If you can't win with that offensive performance it means you couldn't get stops
