Lucked out in that one folks. I don't know how we can look so good one game, and so horrible the next?
WV is not a good team. In fact, they are pretty much terrible. No reason this should have come down to this. Yes, they shot out of their minds and the refs tried to screw us over good, but it still shouldn't have come down to the end.
Our guys never really were into this game from the very beginning. I don't know why? VERY lucky to win. We can't play like that against anyone else and expect to win. We've still got a lot of work to do to be a tourney team. We certainly weren't tonight for whatever reason?

Hilton looked amazing on TV. The Cyclone Power chant at the end was fantastic! As people have said, a win is a win. There isn't much you can do when a team shoot lights out from behind the arc on contested shots.
This could be a good learning experience for us. A friendly reminder to our team that you need to finish games, regardless of how good things appear to be going. I also wish Fred would have controlled the game more when WVU went on their run. A time out or two earlier in their run would have been nice.

Kinda seems like that. Still we should have flat out won tonight. I'm glad we won, but this should be a wake-up call.
Coach Hoiberg once again waits for large leads to dissolve into very close games before taking a timeout when he has four to burn! Also there could easily have been a foul called after the last inbound pass by W.V. and just fortunate it was not called. A cannot imagine other coaches watching big leads dissolve late in the game without calling a timeout. This should not have been this close of a game, but when you watch loosely gaurded threes roll in one after the other, you get your teams attention to defense.
Hey, I love Freddie...but when they cut it to single digits...I felt that warranted a freaking TO. Hope the guys learn from this and keep a team down.
I don't care who you are..when you go 9 for 12 from 3 point all within about 10 minutes, you can do a lot. Couple that with a few calls your way and there you go. Not many teams in the nation will do that. For a team who can't shoot from that range very well, I doubt they will be seeing a performance much like that again this year. It has to suck for them because of that..
I would agree with that. Pretty awesome that they kept it going through both free throws even though they made the first one.
Believe it or not, that does get the crowd and team pumped up, as long as he doesn't get another or several more technicals because of it, I'm ok with it
Yeah, sucks they let them back in it but it happens. WVU isn't going to quit, great effort by them. Clones got a little sloppy, WV got hot as hell. They probably shouldn't have been that cold all game and they probably shouldn't have been that hot at the end, evened out in the end. Thing is, ISU had the better team...and they won. Good win, had to have that one.
