Just saw on ESPN. So much for being firmly entrenched in Oregon.

@SportsCenter: BREAKING - Sources: Oregon coach Chip Kelly will be the new coach of the Philadelphia Eagles (via @mortreport)

And of course the Cowboys just hired ******* Monte Kiffin, who can't stop Chip's offense. Great.

Maybe that's what Chip was waiting for. Bait the Cowboys in their hire and then take over one of their biggest rivals. MWAHAHA!

I wonder who takes over at Oregon and what, if any, sanctions are coming.

First reaction was what the hell is he thinking... He's. going to be expected to win right away.

I honestly wonder if it's similar to Pete Carrol leaving USC just before the sanctions hit.

I am really interested to see what Philly does on offense the next few years.

That division is a joke. He can do it.

I dunno, the Giants just won it all last year, the Redskins (if they can keep RGIII healthy) are a playoff team, and if the Cowboys can stop beating themselves they have pretty good talent and can beat a lot of teams.

I think the NFC East is actually one of the tougher and more volatile divisions now, especially with RGIII elevating the Skins. As much as I dislike the Cowboys and Tony Romo, he is talented and if they don't eff up, they can win some games.

I've been hearing "experts" say his system won't work in the NFL.

I think he will have to change it up some. I agree that the sprinting style wont be as effective against NFL defenders but I think he's got more to him than that.

They also said the read option would never work in the NFL. Of course we could see that regress in the next few years as defenses adjust to it. Just like the Wildcat was all the rage a few years ago.

Off topic but if Jerry Jones could hire a good coach, and a GM, and let them do their jobs, the Cowboys would be scary.

Giants are legit. IMO rg3 will never be the same again, and as long as Dallas has garret as hc and romo as qb they will never be s threat to win anything.
