IS there a cyclone bar in Waverly? I will be visiting family in town on Monday and need to find a place to watch the game.

Not sure about being Cyclone bars but I know the Fainting Goat had lots of good sized TV's while I was there.

Iowa or Nebraska Waverly?

What about Waverly, Minnesota?

There's a city called Waverly in 25 states.

Maybe it's not even a city he's referring to. Maybe he's talking about Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Kentucky.

Nyuk, Nyuk, Nyuk!

I was expecting the photo link to actually have photo's of the place, they took forever to load so I just posted it.

Why not watch it on the "family" you're visiting's TV. Or do you need a good excuse to get away from the "family" you are visiting for a while.

Wife's grandmother lives in Waverly and it seems like almost everyone is pro hawk up there. The OP might be a place to catch the game, or the Fainting Goat as previously mentioned, but I wouldn't call either of those places a "cyclone" bar.

There isn't a "Cyclone bar" in Waverly. There isn't a "Hawkeye bar" in Waverly. But as mentioned the Fainting Goat is a decent place. Decent food too. A second choice would be the Poor House on East Bremer ave, they'll have the game. I would say no to the OP. Source: Just spent a week there and basically the first 23 years of my life.
