Merry Christmas to all and hope everyone has a happy holidays and safe travels!

We are watching "A Christmas Story" and later "Christmas Vacation"

Our christmas plans have now completely changed for today and tomorrow. My wife and and 3 children (ages 6, 4 and 2) all have had the flu/crud/high fever thing the last 72 hours and now we have had to back out on our family plans/Xmas eve church. But I now have our Christmas Eve dinner in the crock pot and the Christmas Morning casserole ready to go. Time for a brewskie and start getting the "Santa" gifts ready.

Not sure if you are, but just in case, I'ma have to call a Catholic foul here. If you're feeling good enough to have a beer, you're feeling good enough for church. It's like a rule or something. Thankfully, there's a corollary....if you make it thru church, you're good to go for gettin' yer drank on.

I'm guessing the wife and three kids are passing on the beer.
