Maybe change up the starting lineup? Gibson for Booker. Maybe sit Clyburn til he wakes up? I think this team will come together like last years team did, but do some players need a "wake up call"?

My suggestion since the next game is against UNO (easy win), they go out with this.

PG- Long
SG- McGee
SF- Babb
PF- Niang
PF- Gibson

get Lucious to wake up and have Clyburn take a seat for the first 5 minutes.

Gibson for Booker is the only change I would make. Gotta give Lucious (his turnovers still frustrate me) and Clyburn the benefit of the doubt as 5th year seniors but the glaring change is more minutes for Gibson and Niang who make things happen.

I'm thinking more along the lines of this

PG- Lucious
SG-Babb
SF-Niang
PF-Ejim
C-Gibson

Keeps McGee as the spark from the bench. Fred doesn't seem to have much confidence in Long yet it seems.

If anything happens it will probably be this.

You have a short memory?

Booker gives you almost nothing. That is not a one game thing, but a very apparent trend.

Our 3 bench players outscored our entire starting 5 tonight. Unfortunately every time we've played away from home, our starters have looked lost. Especially Clyburn and Booker.

I would experiment a little in some of our easier games.

If Booker is still starting next game......honestly, I will lose a little faith in CFH. First, you have to send a message to Booker. Second, you have to reward Gibson or Niang for their efforts. Not to mention there is the future to consider.

Hopefully Booker will react and play better by coming off the bench.

I think you have to keep Booker and Ejim seperated because they don't have the offense that Niang and Percy do. Ejim and Niang together would be too small in B12, so I'll call Fred tomorrow to let him know what I decided.

True...he just seemed out of it tonight. Just wondering if Fred would make changes to get the team energized. I honestly think they will come together.

You make changes when things become a patter, not after one or two games. I agree that Gibson should be starting over Booker, but it would be idiotic to sit Clyburn.

Question is who plays more minutes, Gibson or Booker? It has been Gibson, I bet you completely lose Booker if you don't start him. He needs time to get some confidence I think, so start him if it keeps him happy, if he keeps getting into foul trouble or is ineffective and Percy comes in, then its on him. I havnt figured out Booker yet, he seems like he ALWAYS gets nailed for the ticky tack fouls and he gets down on himself, rarely does he get away with anything.

This is the only reason he's still starting IMO.

Booker starts for the jump ball. Minutes played > Starting. Until we have a guy that has a better chance of winning the tip, Booker will always be in there.

Committing 19 turnovers they all SUCKED....Long Year Coming Up....

Clyburn, Lucious, and Ejim had 15 of the TOs. Clyburn and Ejim will definitely play better, and hopefully Lucious will. The rest of the team probably played better than they have been, on the whole this game.

Yeah, not only the jump ball, but it's also a good way to way to get Booker in more against the other teams best post player. I like Gibson and Niang playing more minutes against the other teams substitute post players.
