Burhams defenses has been horrible. Everyone is talking messingham. Hell his offense did enough to get 31 poimts if it were not for woodys fumble. Burgams defenses have been giving up huge yards and huge points. I like wally but quit blaming messingham. He uas got better as the years uas gone on.

Anyways, I think we have been giving up yardage all year, but they didn't get a lot of help from the offense for most of the year. They've had chances to help the offense given our punter pinning people, and haven't been able to get 3 and outs in most cases as well.

You know why our defense has been horrible lately? Because 1/3 or so of the defense that was actually good from earlier in the year is now out with injury.

ISU held all Big XII opponents below their scoring average for conference games, except Kansas. Don't know how that is a negative at all.

Alright name one offense we have shut down that we should not have. Any team with any talent scored over 30 points against us. Every team. Yet all everyone wants to do is blame messingham who has called two good games in a row and is getting better.
Pretty sure if you hold WVU to 31 you had a good game. ESP with a back up CB and a walk on safety.

We played fine, Knownothing. Lenz dropped the tying touchdown throw, Woody fumbled afterwards when we still had a chance to tie it. We played fine.
Yeah we actually gave up more points per game than teams have minus iowa, west virginia and kansas I believe
And in most cases it was better than a TD lower than the opponents Avg.

ISU did better against WVU than all but 3 teams- without 3 key starters. I am assuming you are under the influence of some sorts to count a TD that did not happen as points for Mess. Wally would be a GD wizard if he was allowed to not count TDs that we gave up. Not to get personal, but I am not sure you can ever be taken seriously again with that logic. Anyone that is this hung-up on yards does not have the basic understanding of risk-reward that is requisite to function in society.
Were a little anti clutch all across the board. Woody failed when he is usually rock solid. Passing game needlessly ****ed ktself, and our defense refuses to help itself. Team loss.
