Loved the way he played yesterday. I feel a lot better about our linebacker situation next year. No one can replace Jake, but i thought he stepped up big time.

I do feel a lot better about next year with the way he played. In fact, I think Rhoads is building enough depth in talent through his overall red shirting that I don't expect a big drop off at all, despite some really big losses. I feel like the strengths of the team may just shift to different areas.

You are correct... Jeremiah George is a beast. What a game. Player of the game IMO, with Vanderkamp a close second.

What will our starting 3 LBs look like next year? George of course. Miller too probably. Then who? Most likely Broomfield or maybe CJ Morgan I'm guessing? As a group we'd be quite a bit smaller.

This game showed me that George should be able to step right in next year and keep our LB squad strong...great game Jeremiah!

I loved George's play...but I liked Knott's coaching even more. I hope CPR adds him to the staff after Knott has a long and successful NFL career.

Rewatched the game this morning. Best tackling game by a ISU linebacker I've seen! Still could be better against pass at times but he hits and sticks!

Knott was awesome on the sidelines yesterday. I particularly liked it when he told McDonough, I believe it was, not to come back to the sideline if you don't go out there and get a TFL (tackle for loss). That was great.

I think that George played better than Klein did yesterday. Klein missed a few tackles in space that he usually makes, and everytime George hits someone, they feel it. My favorite was the 3rd and short late in the game where he absolutely stuffed the ball carrier and forced a fourth down.

He really is turning into a hell of a linebacker. Probably one of the team captains next year I would think. He should be really proud with how far he has come here. Well spoken and seems like a good guy too. Sky is the limit for him. Damn shame he couldn't have been redshirted.

George played especially well when you consider that he crapped all over himself during the game.

Literally filled his pants with poop.

If a LB who is covered in poop is trying to tackle me, I'm going to do everything within my power to get away from him.

Just think how good he'll be when he's not giving the RBs that extra motivation to get away.
