I rarely post on this site as I only read for entertainments sake...and it is quite entertaining.

I just finished watching Jake Knott's press conference...wiped my tears...and clicked to order my first ever jersey (#20 of course). I may never wear it but I'll always remember what that young man gave to the school I love.

As I have 2 young sons (12 & 14) who are active in athletics I will find time this weekend to sit down with them sharing Jake's story and have them watch his press conference. They know him from watching games over the past 3 1/2 years. It is difficult in today's world to teach the lessons of commitment and giving that he has provided for me to share with my sons.

Thank you Jake Knott!

GO CYCLONES!

If the NFL doesn't end up taking this guy due to the shoulder, ISU should certainly take him on as an assistant coach.

The shoulder might cost him getting called in the draft, but there is zero chance he doesn't get into a camp.

Retire #20!

Watched the press conference. Great kid

Also just watched the video tour of the new football facility.

Used to watch Oklahoma kick our @ss in the 70 and 80s

That era is over. OU you have no idea what awaits you on Saturday. Things have changed.

I love Jake Knott and you're lying if you don't! He has represented ISU better than you could draw it up.

Seeing Jake and the current guys play well makes me proud as an alum and Cyclone fan. He's a good man and deserves to play some ball at the next level. Good luck on the rehab and I'll be looking for him on Sundays next year.

I don't think the NFL will skip over him. He has gathered a lot of attention, and anyone with a brain can see that he will play 110% whether he be injured or not.

Yeah, he has the size and the skills to play in the NFL. Teams will love his work ethic and ability to play though pain. The only concern will be his tendencies to get injured but if I'm a NFL team I'm looking at all those injuries and seeing not one missed start. That = money for Knott.

He's the type of guy you want your sons to be like when they grow up and the type of guy you want your daughters to marry.

Ronnie Lott had a finger cut off so he could get back in the game and he's a HOF'er. Jake dominated a game with only one shoulder. Sure, it might be a risk to give him guaranteed money, but I don't think there's any way that he doesn't get picked.
