Are there any ISU recruits playing? If so, who? Why did Under Armour start an all star game?

No there aren't any ISU recruits playing in the game. It's pretty much a Notre Dame all-star game. Usually it's the most elite high school recruits that play in this game.

Notre Dame and Florida seem to be schools of choice...give us 8 years, I hope we have someone in there!!!!

The QB from Indy commits to Minnesota during the game?? If that nut case can sign a one the top players in the country, why can't we?

I know stars arent everything, and I am not too sure on the history of Minnesota recruiting, but they have 6 four star commitments(2 are JC but still)...and they were like 1-10 last year.

Yeah I think we remember how highly ranked Mr. Blake Larsen was (Good job iowa).... I think we need "players" not stars.... But it would be sweet to see chizik pull a couple top athletes away from texas

The Indy QB says that he was told he could come in and compete for a job right away. This is after Weber is on the All-Big 11 freshman team and set all kinds of records for the Gophers. What must Weber be thinking? Or, what is the kid thinking the chances are that he will come in and replace Weber right away? Now on the defensive side for MN, I would believe anything they tell me, as they need help everywhere.

We have 6 3-stars....and one no star.

Speaking of pulling talent from other places, Nebraska is now down to 16 recruits including Bben Cotton. Six of those are from Nebraska and one from Harlan. They have a little now from California and Texas. When Callahan left, the out of staters decommitted including Blaine Gabbert who went Missouri and was in this game. My point is ISU is successfully recruiting more out of staters now than Nebraska.

He is a top 30 basketball recruit, and a top football recruit. I would put my money on him going to Michigan, maybe pulling a Charlie Ward and going with football and bball. He's a phenomenal athlete, and it sounds like he's a pretty good too.
Coach Chizik should offer him, and let him play bball for mcdermott. It's just a pipe dream, but it would be sweet if it happened.

Actually, Hoch decommitted from Nebby and is now going to Missouri. Ouch.
