Please do this Red Raider a huge favor (which I know is a lot to ask given what transpired last weekend, but hear me out):


I need you guys to curb stomp TCU this weekend. These guys are super mouthy down here in Texas and I would love it if they just got their butts kicked all over their home field. ISU has the defense to put the stop to TCU's offense, especially without their starting QB. I know you guys are worried about your offense, but I think you've got enough to get scores on TCU.

I would REALLY like to see you guys shut them out. Even if its a low score in the end like 7-0 or whatever, it would be AWESOME to see TCU go without a score.

Anyway, Red Raider nation is cheering for you guys this weekend (if you don't believe me, look at the majority of posts here: Scout.com: prediction: tcu will get shut out by isu).

Please put the purple toads on their *** tomorrow!

The same TCU that averaged an amazing 1.1yrds per rush against mighty SMU and 156yrds total is going to beat ISU? They'll be lucky if ISU doesn't set a record for safetys.
 
You're a good guy Stanley. I have no hate for the red raiders, after the leach debacle and then not being that great the last couple seasons its okay with me to see Texas Tech football return, rather you guys be good then Texas or Oklahoma. Your guys' defense is better then advertised and wasn't given much credit b/c of who they played, myself included. Obviously Iowa State's offense has been anemic all season minus the Tulsa game, but our offense had no answers to the defense you guys were giving us. Anyways I'll try to tune in to your guy's game too, but its on at the same time as the ISU game. Good luck this weekend.
 
Still cracks me up seeing that post on TCU's site in their Pachall thread.
"We'll be fine with Boykins. Won't win the conference anymore but can still make a bowl."

After visiting KillerFrogs.com and reading some of their threads, I can understand why Tech fans hate them so much. Holy smokes are they entitled.
 
We are hoping for a nice offensive rebound this week and I think the players on that side of the ball are hungry to get back into the swing of things. I think we will see some low scoring in this one, but look for our D to be ripping at the ball all afternoon on their offense.

You guys played a great game last week and I wish you luck the rest of the season. Thanks for staying classy(even after whooping our arses)!

This is what happens to fans of a team that are in the talent rich state of Texas and play year after year in the JUCO conference called the Mountain West. They are used to dominating inferior opponents with far less talent. It's probably not easy for them to flip the switch as far as going back to being the humble little fish in a pond full of sharks. This season should help bring them back to reality.... starting this weekend hopefully.

Why does this crack you up? They probably will be "fine" with Boykins. I doubt they lose every game from here on out. And they probably will make a bowl, and the probbly won't win the conference. Sounds like that post had a lot of truth to it.

That post implied that they expected to win the Big XII Conference this season. Pretty bold statement all things considered.

Well, he's playing QB tomorrow...Rhoads is impressed with his accuracy and told Steele he's gonna be cleaning his shoes.

We will go as far as his arm will take us.

"anymore" being the key part. As in, they expected to win the conference before. It didn't say...we will have less of a chance of winning the conference, it didn't say, we'll probably drop in the conference standings, it said, essentially, that they would win the conference before, but now...they won't..

I LOL'd at that one too.

I really just don't see the TCU team the media does. I really believe ISU takes this one and essentially dominates the game with the defense.
 
What we need to do is carpe the heck out of the football, especially the QB.
