Some early game notes:
Dang KC, that was not good.
Last year's Lions appear to have been a fluke.
Minnesota in 1st place in the North? Did not expect that.
Atlanta with a nice comeback win. looking like a team poised to make a deep run.
Carolina? yeah, I don't know.
Jets. WTF was that fumble, Holmes?

It was an entertaining first set of games. I feel we are really learning about who these teams really are this week. Detroits O-line was absolutely terrible all game. Jets had no offense or defense, and I'm completely shocked with Minnesota this year.

That pass from Ryan to White was beautiful. And my comment from the KC thread is still valid, lol Chiefs.

I'm undefeated in my fantasy league and I'm playing a guy who has Ryan and White. That 60 yard pass gave them each a 5 point bonus (got Ryan over 350 passing yards and White over 150 receiving yards). The play cost me 18 points. Only good thing is I have Bryant as a kicker.

Vikings defense looked like junk the first two weeks and has been great the last 2 weeks.

I somehow got Arian Foster, Calvin Johnson, Texans D, and could have drafted David Akers, all currently ranked number 1 and then I traded Mike Wallace and Matt Stafford for Aaron Rodgers, also number 1. I am sitting pretty right now.

Edit: I also drafted Jimmy Graham, the number 1 TE.

The Lions were no fluke last season. This year we are missing our 1st and 2nd string SS and our 1st FS. We are also missing a few corners. On top of that, the Lions' Oline is another year older. I think Backus and Riola are both 35+.

They'll get it together before the end of the season but the playoffs are looking out of reach already...

at least the Broncos are gonna save my sports week. atta boy Bruton.

Looks like I picked the right time to live in Houston. Texans are looking pretty good this season. Looked good last year, and I can tell you the atmosphere down here for the home playoff game was awesome. Looking for more this year!
