Eer fan view of ISU v OSU

Had no need to watch this last year. Watched it tonight. Holy crap, what a game, what a night.

Stunned to see how many times the camera was shaking from the moving stands. The place looked electric. Must have been magical.

Kudos to you all.........not sure I look forward to playing you all.

It was amazing, so glad I was there making the stadium shake!

Welcome aboard to the Big XII show - I'm pretty excited to see WVU compete this fall, I think you'll fit in very well.

Thanks! Probably one of the best smaller stadiums you will go to or find. Has great fans, a great tailgating atmosphere and an awesome gameday environment! Look forward to our matchup!
 
I'm so excited about the new conference! I've always liked the Mountaineers. I remember being about 6-years-old (that'd be in the 70s, kids) and liking the name "Mountaineers".

Plus, I learned during my time at ISU that WV is a kind of sister school when it comes to stadiums. As a civil engineer, I think that history is cool.

I was going to point this out to Scott34. You guys are kinda a kindred spirit. Great game for you guys. I sure hope you don't have one of those against us.

Not sure I look forward to playing WV after the 77-10 pounding they put on Clemson.
 
We are turning the corner, I believe, and this win will hopefully remind players and fans we can do it. Need to consistently beat the teams we are supposed to and all other games (even vs top 5 type teams) will be competitive/within reach...and our fans need to realize we can be a part of that by being there and being LOUD! :-)
 
Not to be a downer because its great nonetheless, but think of how much louder it would've been if it weren't over break and more students were there. The Jack might have broke down.

The student section was pretty full if I remember correctly. The Athletic Dept did a great promotion for $5 tickets to ANY college student from any college in Iowa, so I knew a bunch of buddies who ended up coming to the game! Never will forget this game.

Last two home games of the year... let's take out #1 7-0 Oklahoma, and #1 10-0 West Virginia :yes:
 
Thanks! It was was the best sporting event I've been at and I have probably watched the 4th quarter and OT dozens of times.

I really think Paul Rhoads is going to take Iowa State football to new places. It won't be a smooth ride, but it will sure be a fun one.

Looking forward to having you guys in Ames in November.

Lol. People were saying the same thing about Okie State when they were putting up silly numbers against other XII foes.....and we all know how that one turned out... :wink:
