I'm only in high school, but I really did care about that girl. And the thing that sucks is we're breaking up because she's moving not even an hour away, but she says there no way we are going to get back together. Just feel like I've been ******** -ed lately.

Today I was engaged in a 2 hour phone call with a couple Program Mangers that was like pulling teeth. I typed up an instant messenger to my friend\neighbor that said "Please kill me now."
Before I even hit the send button, I hear "Is that referring to this call?"
I forgot that I was still sharing my desktop in a Live Meeting.

I confess I get a good chuckle out of break up stories, especially high school ones.

It didn't hurt me too bad me anyway, my job is moving to New York in January and I dont plan on moving with it.
I put the phone on mute and had a good chuckle about it. Besides, I offered to do their work for them over the weekend so I wouldn't have to endure more of the same meeting on Monday. (mostly because I'm taking that afternoon off to play in a golf tourney)

Still going strong with my girlfriend of almost 3 years... She's a senior in high school this coming year and I'm going to be a sophomore at ISU... Only 1 year difference in age though, as she's old for her grade... She hasn't decided on a college yet, but wants to go for interior architecture and has narrowed it down to 3 schools: U of Hawaii (apparently good architecture program, obvious climate/location perks), KState (where her mom and dad went to school), and ISU (I'm there 
, closest to home, but not a college specifically for architecture; which really hurts my hope that she'll come here)... Bah... Doing my best to convert her... It's not looking good though, and I'm worried... That's my confession...

Relationships are hard. They take work...if she's not willing to work for it then ultimately it wouldn't have been worth it in the end. I know it's hard to hear right now, but that's the reality of it

I wouldn't try and convince her where to go but maybe that's just me.

For a long time I was saying nothing about it and she called me out for seeming like I didn't want her to be at the same college as me lol
Meh. I found out a lot about her after the fact. A lot of my friends told me how often she would go to the bars trying to pick up guys to cheat on me with. It's been better since I moved away, and started doing my own thing. I also had one of my better buds throw something at her when he saw her after the entire thing went down. He dislikes her as much as I did.
When that happened, I ended up with a phone call from her current boyfriend giving me my own address and then threatening to kill me. It was interesting. This happened after she saw me at a concert with another girl, so I have a feeling that that has something to do with it.
If I were to guess, I'd say the break up is pretty bitter for her.

Lol... I guess I made it sound like I'm trying to tell her that I'm the reason she should go to ISU... But that's really not the case I guess. She has told me that she would have it in her top 3 regardless of whether or not she was with me... She likes Ames and the campus a lot... Again, the separate college for architecture is the big seller for the other schools.
