That's why I liked reading on CF that CPR called Tyler Brown when he committed recently to make sure he was "all in" and would be taking no more visits etc.
If they decommit after verbally committing then they don't have the quality of character that you want/need in a teammate. Yes, I am looking at you BH.
What makes you believe ISU couldn't have beaten them? I think its about time ISU quits being recognized as a "doormat" or whatever people think they are. Their program is respectable, like it or not.
Really anyone who could score double digits had a decent shot at beating Penn State. This year isn't looking any more promising for them.

Much like the rest of your conference, how did their bowl game end up? Oh yeah, they got their ***** kicked by Houston, it didn't even take a mediocre bcs team to kick the **** out of them.
Iowa State would have been more than competitive with penn state last year. I don't know if they would have won, but they would have held their own.

ISU may take one out of three...even if all three are played in Ames...just being a realist, dudes are real big, real fast, and the fact that UI beats them regularly is a miracle sent from a higher power.
I agree,Houston was a better team than alot of people thought. Penn State had its moments last year. Offense was not their strong suit, but the defense was good. Just like any team that has their defense on the field the whole game, it won't be pretty-and combine Houston's high powered offense, you have the result you saw. And maybe ISU takes 1 out of 10 from Penn State,at Ames. Happy Valley is a bear-went there last year for the first time. So I concede to a point from my previous post!

If you're going to quote my post, how about responding to the actual content of it? That link (could have called it as well that you'd be posting a Sagarin ratings poll..) shows the BE and MWC far below the SEC, which is exactly what I said was the case. Penn st was terrible last year. Houston should have lost to a bad UCLA team, and then with a BCS bid on the line, they lost by 21, in a game that wasn't even that close, to an equally average Southern Miss team. Penn st has been bad for a while now, the only reason they have hidden it is because they do play in an overrated conference that is routinely exposed when they have to play other conferences.

I would say that I am surprised that you and your new friend here are this stupid, but I am really not...There's a whole insecure thread on rivals where the "people" are trying to say that nebbie was successful because they played in the Big 8.
