If this keeps us from getting FSU\Clemson, Dodds just caused the big 12 to have egg on its face for the 3rd summer in a row.
Texas is the best thing to happen to ISU since sliced bread ............. read $$$$$$$

Don't know why it's a big deal if ND becomes a partial in the ACC. They were a partial member in the Big East and it certainly didn't gain that conference leverage in TV deals.

I really can't see ND becoming a full member in the ACC; in light of the the new playoff format, how would that benefit them?

I still think Clemson and FSU are Big XII bound.

I agree with you. If SOS will be very important in the new system, I can see ND trying to buddy up with the Big 12. Playing 4-6 games against the Big 12 is sure to boost your SOS. The ACC ... not so much.

I don't think ND to the ACC will hurt the big 12's chances with FSU/Clemson, if anything it is another move proving the ACC is poised to take over as the premier basketball conference. ND getting its football team included in the new playoff format and having their basketball team get exposure in the toughest basketball conference is win/win for them

I'm definitely in the "I don't give a crap as long as we get paid" corner of conference realignment.

I agree on the getting paid part. But if the conference becomes stable and has a long term future at the expense of a few million a year I'd rather follow that option.

In other words, screw Notre Dame. Nobody under 40 gives a crap about Notre Dame.

How did sliced bread help ISU?

By letting us remain a BCS conference member...

Good to see everyone forgot what went down last Summer. Maybe some folks should look back in this very thread to see where we really rank in the pecking order.

Touche. Not sure why ISU claims he invented peanut butter then.

As someone familiar with this official statistic (at least from the ISU campus tour s.cript), I've never heard that claim. Our line is that GWC invented over 300 uses for the peanut.
