Getting married this saturday

Yeah no kidding. Take time to soak it all in. If you get wrapped up in all of the things you "have" to do, you wont enjoy the moment.

No advice other than to enjoy it...it goes fast so make sure you don't let the little things bother you! Congrats!!!

Thanks! Im trying to do that, but the nerves are creeping up on me... also did not mean to put this is the MBB forum. We go to a lot of the games together, so maybe it is related to MBB

Bring a prenup agreement to the alter with you. Insist that your bride to be sign it before continuing with the ceremony. Make sure you seat your attorney in the front row with the family. Give him a knowing look and discrete thumbs up after you present it to her.

Probably the fastest day of my life. Wish I would have taken some more time to just kind of look around and realize all those people were there for my wife and me.
Kind of late for honeymoon advice, but I'd recommend going to a place where there isn't a ton of sightseeing to do. I know people who went the 'touristy' route for honeymoons and they didn't relax and enjoy it as mush as they wish they would have.

enjoy it as others have already said. i will be taking the leap/plunge whatever you want to call it in 3.5 weeks... and on that note... wow

we actually havent set a honeymoon yet. When we were planning we didnt know where we would be with my job, so we decided to put it off until winter. I think we might try Jamaica sometime this winter

"Alright, let me be the first to say congratulations to ya then. You get one vigina for the rest of your life. Real smart CYNWIA. Way to work it through."

congrats to you too! I havent ever been as nervous/ excited as this in my life... partly because of the wedding, partly because of the party afterwords

Exactly what kind of advise are you looking for? Short term wedding advise or marriage advise from those of us who have been married for a long time?

either or... This is my last day at work for the week and I really have checked out, so I am trying to pass the time

seriously though. it's a special day like saturday when you want to make her happy and give her something she'll remember and cherish forever....

sure is a lot to choose from there....

Separate banking accounts. From past experience and from friends. It seems most "discussions" happen around finances. If each has there own spending money, after the other bills are paid, then if she buys a dress or you buy a new golf club it isn't a debate.

Sometime shortly after Saturday, take time talk through the day with your spouse. Simply recite the events that happened. Talking through it while it's still fresh in your mind will help you remember a lot more of everything that happened.
