Kerry Wood snaps at reporter after tossing glove into stands | May

Never have seen Kerry act like this. I do think he is shot and probably will retire after this season if not sooner. And honestly I think he knows he's shot too. Thats probably why he acted like this. He also tossed his glove and hat into the stands after he left the mound. Someone will sell those for some good money on Ebay.

To sell something for good money, you must have someone willing to buy for good money.
There are some crazy Cub fans out there that would pay good money for Kerry Wood's glove and hat. Even more that it was used in a game.

I don't want to see Wood or Marmol in a game where the Cubs have a tight lead late in the game till they can start throwing some strikes in a mop up role. It's so frustrating to see Dempster's outings wasted. He's 0-1 with a 1.02 ERA which is a shame and even Garza has had some hard luck being 2-1 with a 2.67 ERA and an impressive 0.89 WHIP. The offense hasn't helped Dempster either, they have scored a combined 8 runs in his 5 starts.

I have no problem with it. I would be frustrated at myself and also at the reporters if I was in that situation. I appreciate him playing for the cubs and have always liked him though. But seriously he got ****** and walked away from the situation instead of making it worse. No problem with it. Hopefully he turns things around on the mound. His control wasn't there last night but he did have some good movement yet. I have faith he'll get it back.

Side note...that was the first Cubs game i've seen in 2 years last night.... Been too long!

At the game or on TV? Thats a dang long time.

why wouldn't he expect someone to ask that question? irrelevant? sure....

Yeah no kidding. Players throw their gloves into the stands all the time. GD Nosy reporter. If it happens after the last pitch of the inning - none of your business!
