They are incredibly rude and terrible drivers. We are currently heading back from the game. The lady behind us in her annoying southern accent was incredibly rude. Their guy misses a shot and she would say "take him out he's a *******" or "drive, drive to the basketball" while they're setting up their offense. And of course every single foul on them resulted in a loud booooooo from the crowd. They were up 14 with 1:05 when they got called for that shot clock violation. Shoulda heard it was like they just got hossed on a major call. Leaving the stadium I heard a Kentucky fan say "even if they played this game back in Iowa City they'd still loose. " walking in we were conversiong with some UK fans saying it'd be close. When he suddenly blurts out "No". Total ****** bags down there. Overall fun trip! Rant over. Stay classy UK.

UConn fans are much better than UK fans.

UConn fans were gracious in defeat. UK fans are ****** in victory.

They have a dirty sense of entitlement. Like the championship is theirs and how dare anyone even try to take it from them by actually playing against them. We should just end the tournament now.

may the bluebird of happiness fly over the kentucky basketball team and crap all over their basketball team and program..

BOOOOOOOOOO! What was that, I couldn't hear you BOOOOOOOOOOO!

The Kentucky fans I sat next too were fat redneck idiots. Complaining about everything. That "y'all didn't bring cheerleaders" to the band keeping going to the very end, to well, obviously ever call that the refs made or did not make good or bad.

When Royce got called for a foul when he went up to intercept another showboating lob, and they showed the replay, I obnoxiously booed to all the UK fans around me. They were not pleased. The WKU fans next to me who were rooting for us, laughed.

A handful of them as I walked out of the area shook my hand and gave our guys, especially Royce, kudos. Those folks were awesome.

The best person in the whole arena had to be the usher for section 102/103. Every time he walked by, he stopped to talk basketball. Knows a lot. Says UK has lots of talent, but that they already act like they are in the NBA. Gave our guys and our fans lots of props.

I take back everything bad I have said about KU fans.

Kentucky fans by far, are the worst I have ever experienced. Sportsmanship is lost on those people. Worse than the worst tavernhawk.

We hate them too. Hope your stay in Louisville was good dispite them. Hopefully you can come down more often if Louisville gets the Big 12 invite. Cardinal fans are nothing like the inbreeders.

Louisville. Was awesome thanks for the hospitality!!

As far as the fans go I ran into some nicer fans but as a whole they were just awful. Ashley Judd did compliment the band though.

It's something to do with the SEC. My cousins go to Georgia and a lot of their fans are the same way. Thank god my cousins aren't.

Did they all have a full set of teeth? I suppose they all looked the same. UK's motto is "We are one big happy family!!"

Can u blame the UTucky fans? They have the best team money can buy. When you've thrown away your dignity by supporting the sleaziest coach in the sport to be the best team in the SureEveryoneCheats, you expect to win.

Kentucky fans are the worst, heck I saw one guy on their message board that was calling us cheaters...

A little dated, and really not the one I was looking for, but it makes the point. Iowa vs. Kentucky:

Hey guys - Louisville fan here. Congrats on making the field of 32, and sorry you guys lost last night. This thread got linked to our Rivals site, so I thought I'd reply.

Let me be the first to apologize for the way you were treated in Louisville. We know first hand how pig-headed and awful the Kentucky fanbase can be, and I'm sorry you had to experience it here in Derby City. I'm ashamed for our state and especially the city I was born and raised in. If I can offer any perspective, it's that they literally view college basketball in the same light as professional wrestling - except they think wrestling is real and basketball is scripted. We've been in the Yum Center for 2 years with no incidents, and they were there for an hour and had already destroyed a sprinkler system. But, we know them well and have come to expect as much. Their local shock-jock radio host was actually encouraging the vandalism on-air Thursday. Again, none of us are surprised, though.

In any case, I sincerely hope those of you who traveled here enjoyed your time in Louisville, and I want to thank you for spending your hard-earned money following the Cyclones here. I hope you enjoyed the KFC Yum! Center as much as we do. I hope you were treated well by everyone other than the crazy bluenecks, and we all hope you don't hesitate to come back. You're always welcome here.
