I hope so for Larry's sake. But a lot of teams not used to clutching, grabbing, holding, banging, & bumping have trouble with thugs like KSU. And I mean that in a good way. We beat them twice and still wouldn't want to play them again. Very lucky to come out of those games with your junk intact.
Couldn't happen to a better program, Syracuse is routinely over hyped and always chokes. Boeheim's underachieving makes Roy Williams look like John Wooden.
I think Ksu can make a deep run, teams are not going to be ready for the kind of game they play. Hope all the big 12 teams have a good run, hate to say it even mizz
Sadly I agree, Kstate plays tournament-esque defense all year and Mizzou has the best guards in the country, guard play is what the tourney is all about.
The million dollar question is, would Cuse still be a 1 seed if the committee had known Melo would not be eligible?! Provocative..........

Just a thought. I realize that FAB is important but as a zone, they should be able to overcome a lot better than a man-to-man team.

That would mean Syracuse would own two of the worst upsets, since they got bounced by #15 Richmond, the first #15 to ever spring the upset.
I'm leaving mine as is. I have Florida St taking them out, and it seems like this stuff focuses a team just as often as it hurts them
Maybe the basketball gods are on our side after all and want a #1 seed to lose first round
