Anyone else think CA will step up in the tourney? I think with his experience having been to two final fours, he will lead this team when it matters. I sure hope that is forthcoming because I can see the Clones becoming a very hard out with him hitting on all cylinders.

Like I've said 100 times, I hope he doesn't just come in chucking up shots trying to be a hero. Play as a team.

I dont think he will "step up" or improve any more than he has played all season. i do think he will be the most clear-headed and calm of the team though

I personally think it's an overrated statistic. How many of you in high school participayed at the state level in sports? Did you feel you had some big advantage over the people around you who hadn't been? I sure as hell didn't.

playing at a state championship level is way different than playing in two final fours.

I don't know or care what sport and what state you played in, it's not the same.

I do think there is a sort of confidence that only comes from being in a big situation before. Not saying it's as big of a deal as some are making it out to be, but it is relevant.

I hope all of our guards step up bigtime, because we are disadvantaged physically this next game. They need to be mentally on top of it.

totally disagree, we are the higher seed, we should win the UCONN game. CA is what he is at this point. He can have a good game or suck *** like he did the other night. I don't think there is any advantage at all in playing in the tourney before.

I think he will play well, the danger for Chris Allen is when he doesn't work within the offense to get his shots. He has done a good job of that for the most part the second half of season and I think it will continue.

I think CA being in the final four does help the team a lot, but not on the court. I think his experience will be a huge asset in practices and preparation leading up to Thursday.

We are going to need Allen to step up defensively, as he's likely going to draw the assignment of Napier in the first round, possibly Boatright too, depending on UCONN's lineups. He and Scotty are going to have their hands full on D.

I think Chris understands that his tournament experience doesn't mean chucking up shots. In fact, I would guess it's the opposite. Based on what he's said, he will be trying to do all the little things that matter, and I'm sure will shoot when the shot is there. Hopefully his experience will help settle the team down.

Does anyone really look to Chris as a leader of this team? I don't.... I'm not bashing him but I feel as Scotty is our leader and Royce tries to as times.

It's definitely Scotty. I hope CA steps up in a big way, but before the season started, I kind of thought he would be in a bigger leadership role... Especially considering his experience. Thus far he hasn't shown up in that department, IMO. Hoping for a run here by our guys!
