We all have heard the importance of the guard play in the tournament. What one player do you think on our team is going to step up in the tournament? Do you like Chris Allen? Would you go with Mr. Reliable, Scotty?

Problem I have with Allen is I don't want him to go chuck up shots and try to be a hero. We don't need that. We need team play. I think you run every thing through Royce
We have had so many different players step up this year it's hard to say. If we aren't going guards only, I'd say Melvin is the guy who makes the key plays that get things going for us, even if other players step up and score more.
Chris Allen has to bring his A-game. That doesn't mean dribble the ball down and take a shot. He needs to get in the offense and let RW and SC do their thing. He does need to score but I think that will happen if he's in the flow of the game. This helps everyone from SC to RW to ME. Babb will certainly play the key role defensively and anything offensively is a bonus. Strong off the bench play from Booker, Palo, McGee will be a difference maker.
Agree on Babb. Guy is a stud, just doesn't get as much recognition as the top scorers.
