So I'm watching the preview of the Iowa/Nebraska Woman's Big 10 tournament game and the BTN announcer refers to the game as Farmageddon. And of course many of us like to think of the KSU/ISU rivalry, (if there is one), as Farmageddon.

So, who "owns" the term. At one time I thought there was a move afoot to give the ISU/KSU contests exclusive rights to the term. Apparently not, because it appears that anyone and everyone has a right to use the term - and does.

I'd rather give it to Iowa-Nebraska and make fun of them for stealing a lame nickname from ISU and KSU.

I really don't want a part of anything associated with Nebraska.

Yeah, let them have that name and we can give them the original Iowa Corn trophy with the family that was scrapped for the football game between us and Iowa.

I say we not only keep the name Farmageddon, but create a traveling trophy named the "Actually Helping Farmers Trophy".
