Lol. I don't think its being discussed at all. MAYBE one or two or the top teams bring it up, but even then I doubt it. That hurts the conference more than it helps it. If anything I bet most members want back to 8 games.
Exactly. The conference gains little by beating its own members up for 10 weeks out of the season. We need 4 weeks where we beat up on other conferences. Thats the downside of the 9 game schedule, we guarantee the league as a whole loses 5 games vs having chances at more wins against other confs.
Correct. That's why the Big 10 and Pac 12 have entered into a football deal. The Big 12 is having second thoughts about the nine game schedule thing that they pledged to begin in 2014.
They are trying to find quality content for TV that does not have a negative impact on the conference as a whole.
8 games won't happen again IMO. The BCS changes will make the 8, 9, or 10 game scenario less of an issue.

12 teams w/ 8 conference games is still more than 10 teams with 9 conference games. (48 vs. 45)
Agreements like the Pac-10/Big Ten will also fit well with TV contract demands. (TTU going to have to play someone of significance for once.)
The changes discussed so far (notably the 7 win requirement) seem to be doing everything to make the 9+ game schedule a worse thing.
We ought to kick the **** out them on Wednesday just for this... Lame ****ers are not even out of the XII yet. We should just remove them from all things associated with the XII (conf site, logo in tourney stadium, force them to remove it from their court, etc.)

My wish- that this will all be sorted out between the end of this basketball season, and the beginning of football. It would be a nice sports related diversion for the spring and summer months.

Please! no partial ND......all in or all out. We put up with the tarnished domers for too many years and can vouch that they will bring an ill wind as partial members.....not to mention they will cherry pick their 3 or 4 Big XII FB games, and use your bowl access as it's own.
There is no way that Notre Dame joins the Big 12. I'm sure Texas and Oklahoma would love to see them join as a partial member to set the precident for them doing so in the future, but if any of the ADs and Presidents of other schools support it they should all be fired immediately for stupidity. Allowing partial members would be signing the death warrant for the Big XII.

Yes, $12.4 million is too cheap for the shenanigans that those Jackwagons at MU pulled on the conference. I consider $12.4 mil on the low side of acceptable for TAMMY but it's WAY too low for the tiggers. Thumbs down.
