0 votes in the AP Top 25

I'm surprised we got none. I mean, I know we were 1-1 last week, but that one loss was to a top 10 team on the road, then we took care of business at home. IMO a 19-8 team tied for 3rd in a major conference deserves some votes.
 
Rankings mean nothing to selection committee. I'd rather be unranked heading into the Tech and K-State games. We don't need an unnecessary bullseye put on our back because we are ranked.

The thing that does surprise me more than that, like you are saying, is the teams we have in front of us. I definitely think we deserve votes over a few of those teams, but a big loss at Baylor and then an expected win at home vs. Oklahoma doesn't do much for our case.

I definitely agree. I think we would play better without that added pressure of having a number in front of our name. On the other hand, it still is interesting to see how we are doing in the polls and what kind of attention (positive or negative) we may be getting.
 
We will most likely not be ranked this year. If it hasn't happened yet. It most likely won't happen. Who cares. Let's just get to the dance.
