Im not sure about anyone else, but this years' games have been some of the most anticipated games for me that I can remember. I has very young the last time ISU was good, so I got really used to not getting very excited for ISU games during high school and college. Now, I am sitting at work eagerly counting down the seconds till tip-off.

Maybe it's a little pathetic, but it feels good to have a team that we are eager to watch instead of having teams we feel obligated to watch just because we are ISU fans. Can't wait for the game and a few beers, go clones!!

that really sucks... I have been lucky to watch all the games this year without any conflicts. maybe you can have John and Eric in your ear while you teach.

You're lucky to be at work now. I teach a class that starts at gametime!

Sounds like someone needs to be the cool teacher and send out the cancellation email before lunch.

To the OP, I was just saying the same thing to one of my friends, I don't think I've been this jacked up for a game in a very long time. Probably since I first enrolled at ISU (2001).

My students have to bring food for the class if I catch them with their phone, but I think i'll bring them food so I can have the gamecast up on mine!

The last several years, I didn't mind if I missed a game here or there, since I was pretty certain we'd lose in some new and painfully innovative heart-breaking way.

This year, I plan my Saturdays around game time and I make sure all my house work (make dinner, cleanup, walk dogs) is done before weekday evening games.

I love being this excited for Clone hoops again.

this. I always would get the updates from sportscenter or maybe check a gamecast or two, but if I had something remotely interesting going on, I would do that and only turn on the game if it was convenient... Now, I am studying for the bar exam and working, and I still plan my day around the games. Pretty awesome to have the feeling of hope/ opportunity back in Central Iowa

definitely weird looking at the other team's boards and seeing how quiet they are compared to us. although, even during McD, there was a lot of chatter on CF.

I compare watching this seasons basketball games to sitting down to watch the best movie you've ever seen. When we win, it's like watching Fight Club for the first time, freaking awesome.

+1,000. I feel like every game is winnable and get pumped each and every game day. I can't remember that feeling since my time in Ames, which ended about 6 years ago. Go clones and get them Cowboys again!
